Machining

B.C.C Have most recently added a new Hurco VMC (1000 x 750 x 500) and a Hurco machining centre with barfeed. We also have C.N.C/Manual machines of both milling and turning along with a D.S.G and a Slotter.

In addition to cnc machining we also offer small batch work and breakdown work with the wide range of manual machines we possess which include, Centre Lathes (1M swing), Milling machines (2 of which are universal)Surface/cylindrical grinding, boring, slotting, drilling and in house sawing. We can manufacture most Steels from Mild Steel through to Tool Steel and Nimonics, we also machine engineering plastics.

The sizes we machine on the Lathes are from 3mm Dia up to 1M dia and 2M between centres, on the Milling machines we can machine 1M lengths by 500mm Sq. The batches are not a problem whether they are 1 off’s or greater and in addition we can manufacture breakdown work from broken parts or sketches.
